• Hiniling ng ABS-CBN sa Quezon City RTC na atasan ang dating Host ng Wowowee na si Willie Revillame na ilabas ang kontrata na pinirmahan nito sa TV5. Una nang hiniling ni Revillame sa korte na tapusin na ang kontrata niya sa ABS-CBN at mabigyan siya ng mahigit P11 milyong damages. Sumagot ang ABS-CBN sa kasong naisampa ni Revillame. Nagsampa sila ng counterclaim na P486 milyon laban sa naturang host dahil wala umano itong kapangyarihan na tapusin ang kontrata sa kanila. “We are asking the court for the production of contracts signed by plaintiff or anybody else in his behalf with TV5,” pahayag ng ABS-CBN counsel, Atty. Miguel Silos sa kanyang manifesto sa ginanap na pagdinig kahapon sa QC Regional Trial Court Branch 84. Sa isinampang pleading kahapon, nais ng ABS-CBN na aminin ni Revillame na may usapan sila nina TV5 chair Manny Pangilinan sa bahay ng abogado nitong si Atty. Alfonso Reyno sa harap ng business partner at manager na si Vic Del Rosario noong Setyembre 7 at kung ito ay magho-host ng isang variety at game show sa TV5 na eere sa Oktubre. Nasa hearing kahapon sina Villaraza, Cruz, Marcelo ng Angangco law offices para sa ABS-CBN at sa kampo ni Revillame, ang Bodegon, Estorninos, Guerzon, Borje at Bongco law offices. Hiniling naman ni Atty. Toni Joy Verano, abogado ni Revillame sa korte na suspendihin muna ang hearing para sa mosyon na makapag-produce sila ng dokumento at sa halip ay unahin muna ang kanilang omnibus motion na nagsaad na atasan ng korte ang ABS-CBN na ideklarang default ang umano’y kabiguan nitong tuparin ang ilang legal procedures. Sa huli, sinabi ni QC RTC Judge Luisito Cortez na upang maresolba ang parehong mosyon, bibigyan niya ng sapat na panahon ang mga ito upang makapag-file ang magkabilang panig ng dagdag na pleadings. Ang ABS-CBN ay binigyan ng korte ng hanggang Lunes Setyembre 27 para mag-comment sa omnibus motion at ang kampo ni Revillame ay binigyan ng 15 araw para mag-comment sa request ng ABS-CBN na magbigay ng dokumento hinggil sa kontrata sa TV5.

• TV host Willie Revillame, reported to have earned P40 million a month for hosting a daily noontime show, described as "horrendous'', the nearly half-a-billion-peso counterclaim of his former network, ABS-CBN, and asked a QC court to strike down the network’s "compulsory counterclaims", according to a motion he filed Tuesday. In a petition filed with the Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 84, Revillame asked Judge Luisito Cortez to be allowed to present evidence ex parte or without the representation or notification of defendant ABS-CBN in the civil case he filed for judicial confirmation of his rescission of contract as host of the daily noontime show Wowowee in ABS-CBN. "It is upon this same document that defendant ABS-CBN pleads its several compulsory counterclaims against plaintiff, foremost of them, its seeking declaration that plaintiff remains covered by the terms and conditions of the agreement even when it had already canceled the program 'Wowowee' for which plaintiff rescinded the agreement for such breach of contract by defendant ABS-CBN, and its permissive counterclaim praying to hold plaintiff liable to it for liquidated damages in the horrendous amount of P426,917,646.96," it stated. Revillame requested the court to be allowed to present on September 30 evidence of his plea for a confirmation of the rescission of his contract with the network. "A perusal of the answer of defendant ABS-CBN indubitably shows that it is founded upon an actionable document, which is the agreement that is signed and executed with plaintiff in September 2008. In fact, it is this document upon which defendant ABS-CBN insists in its answer that plaintiff remains bound to it as a talent," Revillame's motion stated. The TV host also requested the court not to give weight to the counterclaim filed by the TV network due to a technicality and its failure to pay the docket fees. "Defendant ABS-CBN did not deign to, as it did not, pay the required docket fee. Consequently, the compulsory counterclaims asserted by ABS-CBN should be stricken from the records," the motion said. "It is as if no answer was filed by defendant ABS-CBN within the reglamentary period. As a result, the network should be declared in default," it added.

• A Quezon City Court has given television network ABS-CBN 15 days to answer the plea of host Willie Revillame for a “judicial confirmation” of his rescission of his contract as host of the noontime show Wowowee. “You are hereby required within 15 days after service of this summons upon you, to file with this court and serve on the plaintiff your answer to the complaint,” lawyer Mary Ann Plata Daytia, clerk of the Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 84, said in the summons. “If you fail to answer within the time aforesaid, the plaintiff will take judgment against you by default and may be granted the relief applied for in the complaint,” she told the network. The summons was served on August 31.

• Pormal na nagsampa ng reklamo sa korte ang TV Host na si Willie Revillame laban sa ABS-CBN kaugnay ng pagkakatanggal niya at ng noontime show nyang "Wowowee" sa ere noong July 31. Mahigit kumulang na P11.5 million ang hinihinging danyos perwisyo ni Willie sa formal complaint na isinampa niya sa QCRTC noong hapon ng biyernes, August 20. Ngayong Lunes, August 23, ay nai-raffle na ang kaso sa sala ni Judge Luisito Co ng Branch 84, ayon sa lawyer ni Willie na si Atty. Leonard de Vera. Sa pamamagitan ng nasabing formal complaint, hiniling ni Willie sa korte na bigyan ng "judicial confirmation" ang pagpawalang bisa ng kontrata nya with ABS-CBN, na matatapos pa sa September 2011. Sa kanyang isinampang reklamo, naglatag si Willie ng hindi bababa sa sampung halimbawa ng paglabag umano ng ABS-CBN sa kontrata. Kasama na rito ang pagsuspinde sa kanya ng ABS-CBN ng walang bayad at ang pagbibigay sa kanya ng "pre-recorded" weekly TV program kapalit ng Wowowee. Hinayaan din daw umano ng network ang ilang mga shows nito na magbigay ng "hayagan paninira" sa pagkatao nio Willie. Pinuna rin ng TV Host ang paglalagay umano sa kanya sa "probationary status," at sa pagtanggal ng oportunudad na siya'y kumita mula sa "in-show" advertisements. Sinabi naman ni Willie na handa syang isantabi ang isinampang reklamo kung sila ng ABS-CBN ay matiwasay na maghihiwalay ng landas.
